Court Haven

Miami Beach, Florida

Court Haven serves as a compelling example of how contextually sensitive architecture and regionally attuned landscape design can harmonize to create a space that thoughtfully responds to both the cultural and human qualities of its physical environment. The architects have carefully considered not only the building’s form, interior spaces, and materiality, but have also skillfully crafted negative spaces that are essential to the project’s success and to the daily lives of its residents.

As Landscape Architects, our vision for this project is to design a garden that seamlessly extends the living spaces, effortlessly flowing into the negative spaces with the right scale and proportions. Our goal is to create a family-centered environment that makes full use of the various outdoor spaces. These outdoor spaces were designed to be pedestrian friendly, inviting, and scaled for comfort, fostering a natural sense of human connection. Sustainability will guide our planting design, emphasizing low-maintenance practices that are both environmentally conscious and enduring.
