Designing landscapes that ROOT, EVOLVE, AND BELONG.
LandFluent is a landscape architecture studio with bicoastal
roots and international experience - founded on the belief that
meaningful design emerges through collaboration, stewardship,
and a deep respect for the natural world.
With offices in Southern California and South Florida, and a portfolio spanning Central America and the West Indies, we design site-specific gardens and landscapes that harmonize the built environment with nature’s timeless beauty.

WE’RE DREAMERS AND DOERS. OUR IDEAS ARE AMBITIOUS & ALWAYS EXECUTABLE.
At its core, LandFluent is more than a design firm - it is a design philosophy. We believe that outdoor spaces should invite interaction, evoke emotion, and endure with elegance. Our gardens are not ornamental afterthoughts; they are extensions of life itself - spaces to gather, contemplate, celebrate, and connect. Through sunlight, shade, texture, and movement, we bring landscapes to life. And through native planting, thoughtfully selected materials, and a commitment to craft, we ensure they leave a lasting, positive impact.
meet the team
Founded in 2013 and led by principals Peter and Jeff, LandFluent brings together more than 30 years of experience in landscape architecture, design and execution.
Peter Anselmo, PLA
founding partner
Since the inception of LandFluent in 2013, Peter has always envisioned the practice as a collaborative entity where multiple minds and hands can contribute to thoughtful designs.
Understanding that the most successful solutions emerge from a shared design philosophy, with room for varied viewpoints, discourse and exploration, Peter takes great pride in working alongside a small, but expert team of passionate individuals.
The human action of hand-drawing has been a key part of his process from a young age, and will forever be a core tool in LandFluent’s arsenal.
With a degree in Architecture from the University of Miami, experience at some of the most prestigious firms in the nation, and an open mind, Peter looks forward to working with you.
Jeff Steen, PLA
partner
An enthusiast for the teachings of the Bauhaus design style, Jeff appreciates simple, functional, and sophisticated design. He endeavors to apply these principles in every project that comes into the LandFluent studio.
For Jeff, every design is a labor of love, deserving the utmost attention to the project site’s opportunities and constraints, site specific and regional ecosystems, local culture, and client objectives. “(landscape) Architecture should speak of its time and place, but yearn for timelessness” – Frank Gehry

what we offer
Our work ranges from modern coastal residences to boutique hotels and public outdoor spaces, each one defined by thoughtful details, native flora, and purposeful integration with architecture and the surrounding environment. At LandFluent, we approach every project - whether an intimate courtyard or a multi-acre public space - as an opportunity to enrich the human experience and benefit the local ecosystem.
our process
Our process is rooted in dialogue and discovery. From initial site analysis to creative problem solving concepts and detailed construction documents, we work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and builders to shape spaces that are both refined and responsive. We collaborate openly, observe carefully, and design intentionally - ensuring each project reflects its context, supports biodiversity, and serves the people who use it. We are deeply involved in every step, often onsite during installation, ensuring the vision is fully realized with the same care that shaped it.
